NPF 2018 Recruitment – Physical and Credential Screening Date, Venue

This post will provide information on the 2018 Nigerian police recruitment – The screening for Constables begin on the seventh of May (Monday). The authorities are planning to involve 6,000 Nigerians in the thirty-six State Police Command Headquarters and the Federal Capital Territory. Also Police Recruits in all states will Undergo HIV Screening, Pregnancy Test, Special JAMB Exam.

 

 

How to check NPF List of Shortlisted Candidates

Candidates are advised to visit http://www.policerecruitment.ng/CandidateList  to check their names and screening date on the updated list on the website above.

All Candidates whose name appear in the list below are required to come along with the original copies of their credentials for scrutiny and two passport photographs.

 

 

Candidates are to appear in white T-shirt and Blue short nicker.

 

Police Recruitment – Check Screening Venues – All candidates are to proceed to the State Police Headquarters in their respective state of origin on their scheduled date for screening. Eg. A candidate from Ondo will be screened at Ondo State Police Hq

Eligibility for Nigeria Police Force Recuitment

Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN)

 

Applicants must possess a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with credit passess in English and Mathematics.

Applicants must be aged between 18-25 years by March 2018.

Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67mtrs tall for male and 1.64mtrs tall for female.

Applicants must print their completed online forms, guarantor form and submit it at the examination / screening and recruitment centre.

All appllicants MUST have readily available scanned copy of their

SSCE/GCE/NABTEB/NECO Result

Birth Certificate Result

FSLC Result

LGA Certificate

Passport Photograph

36 States: Police Recruits to Undergo HIV Screening, Pregnancy Test, Special JAMB Exam

 

The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, NPM, mni, represented by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Training and Development, DIG Emmanuel Inyang psc(+)mni has addressed Commissioners of Police and other Senior Officers nominated to serve as Heads of Police Recruitment Screening Committee in the Thirty Seven Commands of the Federation and warned them to be thorough and above board and ensure that the screening exercise which will commence with effect from Monday 7th May, 2018 is smooth, hitch free and devoid of any form of corrupt practice.

  1. He further warned the Officers that will be participating in the screening exercise to remain impartial and ensure transparency. For the first time, successful candidates, after the physical screening, will undergo a written aptitude test to be conducted by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to ensure transparency and get the best out of the candidates.

 

  1. Furthermore, Medical Examination will be conducted for each candidate in the following areas before final selection:-

 

(a) Visual Assessment which covers far and near visual acuity, binocular vision, colour vision, visual field testing and pathology.

(b) General medical test which covers blood pressure, sugar, body mass index, hepatitis b and c, HIV screening, Tuberculosis, antigen in serum and pregnancy test (for women only).

(c) Psychological evolution of the candidates which covers psychological interview, personality and integrity as well as drug screening.

The Inspector General of Police also directed that the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Training and Development should embark on monitoring and assessment of the exercise throughout the Thirty Six (36) States and the FCT to ensure that the exercise is carried out in line with best practices.
