Here is When JAMB (CAPS) will Stop Giving Admission for 2019/2020

JAMB has started giving admission to qualified candidates for the 2019/2020 academic session, the board has also announced the admission deadlines for public, private varsities. If you have been wondering when JAMB will stop giving admission to 2019/2020 UTME and DE candidates, you will get answers to your question in this post.

This post will provide information on When JAMB CAPS admission into universities and polytechnics will commence and end for 2019/2020.

JAMB 2019 Admission Deadline for 1st and Second Choice Candidates

The first choice admission for public universities commenced from August 21 and will end on November 16. while the second choice admission for public universities will be from November 17 to December 17, 2019.

Also the admission for calendar for private universities will be from August 21, 2019, to February 15, 2020.

Based on the information above, JAMB started giving admission to 2019/2020 UTME candidates in August 2019 and this is supposed to carry on till the end of the year. JAMB admission usually closes few weeks after the commencement of the next JAMB registration.

Therefore JAMB will stop giving admission for 2019/2020 in February 2020. By the end of February 2020, JAMB CAPS portal will stop giving provisional admission to UTME and Direct entry candidates.

An official announcement will be giving to all schools to comply with the instruction. Before the end of February 2020 all school are expected to have finished releasing their admission list and should be getting ready to roundup the registration of new students.
