This post will provide details on how to get your Yellow Fever Card/Certificate in Nigeria. The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has released
guidelines for Nigerian traveler to easily get their Yellow Fever card and certificates in 5 days.
What is Yellow Fever Card/Certificate
A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for travelers 1 year of age and older coming from countries with risk of yellow fever transmission and sometimes for travelers in transit through such countries.
Countries with Risk of Yellow Fever
The following are regarded as countries and areas with risk of yellow fever transmission:
Africa: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, Côte dʼIvoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra-Leone, Sudan, South Sudan, Togo and Uganda.
America: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Trinidad (Trinidad only), Panama, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of).

STEP 1:Visit www.yellowcard.health.gov.ng or www.yellowcardnigeria.c
STEP 2: click on Yellow Card Application.
STEP 3: Fill in your personal information and click on submit button.
STEP 4: Click on Payment button, generate your Remita Retrival Receipt (RRR) code and pay the sum of N2,000 online (or go to the bank).
STEP 5: Take the payment receipt along with your international passport to any Port Health Services Office to get vaccinated and obtain the yellow card.”
