How can I read and pass my Post UTME

The ultimate tip to passing your post UTME exams to gain admission into a Nigerian university or polytechnic is by studying hard using the Post utme Past Questions and syllabus of that school.

It has been confirmed that most schools often set their screening test questions from its past question. Therefore I advised prospective students to obtain a past question and syllabus from students of the school, purchase online or from a book store.

Also remember to test yourself frequently by setting mock questions and grading your score. You also use this method in a study group with friends. This will help make you more familiar with the questions by building a retentive memory. I also advise you learn to work without the aid of a calculator because some school don’t allow the use of scientific calculators in their exams.

What are the number of subjects and question in Post UTME

The number of subject and questions in a Post UTME differs in all Nigerian schools. UNIBEN may set a total of 100 questions while UNILAG may set 200 and use aggregate score as criteria for admission.

Same applies to the subjects because there have been cases were general knowledge questions were included in post UTME for all departments. Therefore all students are advised to study all 9 subjects in your O’level and have knowledge of other past questions.

However this doesn’t matter if your are well prepared and have a good O’level and JAMB score because most schools use them as criteria for admission in obtaining a candidates aggregate score.

Also don’t forget to be confident and believe in yourself. Good luck.
