UNIJOS 2018/2019 JAMB Admission Cut Off Mark
Cut Off Mark is the minimum point a student applying for admission must attain in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and or Post-Utme/Screening Exercise in order to be considered for admission into a particular school. It is also important to note that Jamb fixed cut off mark for UNIJOS is 180. This makes UNIJOS considered to some as one of the tetiary instituition in Nigeria that accept low JAMB scores for admission.
Therefore, 180 points are enough to enter practically all courses in UNIJOS, except the most popular, which will be listed below;
– UNIJOS Cut Off Mark for Computer Science and all other existing engineering courses, biochemistry, geology, and microbiology is 190. – UNIJOS Cut off Mark for law, mass communication, physiology and anatomy is 200. – UNIJOS Cut off Mark for medicine/surgery and nursing is 220 to 240. Also candidates must posses complete O’level results in required subject in One sitting.
Cut off Mark Calculation Method
The cut off mark is usually calculated by using the candidates O’level grades, JAMB and Post UTME screening scores. However in some cases the number of O’level sitings may be considered as a criteria. In this case, candidates with 1 sittings and high grades are at an advantage.
