Each year over 1.2 million candidates sit for UTME every year, unfortunately only less than half of the total number of applicants gains admission into Universities, Polytechnics and College of Education.

Many students stay idle at home for months because they fail to pass JAMB UTME. JAMB has indeed frustrated many admission seekers over the years.

    Apply for IJMB, Get 200-level University Admission without JAMB

    IJMB is an A’level program that is moderated by Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U), Zaria with center affiliated in Ilorin.

    IJMB is a 9months intensive program, IJMB program is just like you are in 100level and it’s designed in such a way that candidate with deficiencies in English and Mathematics in their O’ level result can still participate.

    And unlike JAMB results which expires every year, A ‘Level results is just like your WAEC or NECO results which doesn’t expire and can also be used in securing admission abroad. Application forms are now only on sale @ IJMB study Centre in ILORIN. 

    JUPEB Admission without JAMB

    Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is a 12months A-level programme that offers direct entry admission into 200 level to qualified candidates. JUPEB certificate can be used to gain admission into some university in Nigeria and Abroad.

    The Basic Qualification for Enrollment is a minimum of five (5) Credit Passes at the Senior Secondary Certificate (SSCE) /General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level in subjects relevant to the desired university programme or course of study.

    National Open University of Nigeria

    The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) was established during the president Olusegun Obasanjo regime. NOUN was established to help students who are advanced in age or engaged with some form of employment or other activities, to also study without having to quit their jobs or go through the stress of the regular academic system.

    Noun has campuses in almost every major city in Nigeria and the application procedures are pretty simple. Also NOUN graduates can be mobilized for NYSC and Law School.

    Diploma School or PRE-DEGREE Programmes

    Getting forms for admission into Diploma School or PRE-DEGREE Programmes is also another ways to get admission without JAMB in Nigeria

    There are various schools in Nigeria that admit students who successfully complete their Diploma or Pre Degree programmes. Forms are usually sold shortly after Post UTME have been conducted.

    A diploma is a program that runs for 1-2 years, based on the school you choose to attend and the course. After you have completed the program, you’ll be offered admission into 200 level through direct entry.

    Pre-degree runs from 7 to 9 months. Students who are successful are given admission into 100 level.

    Example of schools that run these programme are DELSU, ESUT or UNIPORT

    Private University
    Some private universities still admit without JAMB or with low JAMB scores. This schools will not be mentioned here, but you can do some research to find them out.
