    It is a 9months intensive program, IJMB program is just like you are in 100level and it’s designed in such a way that candidate with deficiencies in English and Mathematics in their O’ level result can still participate.
    And unlike JAMB results which expires every year, A ‘Level results is just like your WAEC or NECO results which doesn’t expire and can also be used in securing admission abroad. Application forms are now only on sale @ IJMB study Centre in ILORIN.
    NOTE: Sales of IJMB form is not available online and in the banks. You have to come down to ILORIN to obtain the form yourself, please beware of scammers online who will tell you to pay online with your ATM.


    Candidates shall offer at least three main subject at A’ Level. The overall mark in each subject shall be expressed at a percentage, and may include an element in respect of Continuous Assessment (CA).

    For every A’Level subject registered each candidates must have a continous assessment (C.A) grade which carries 20% of the total scores. All science subjects in IJMB Examination, expect A’Level Mathematics, have one practical paper each, which carries substantial percentage of the total scores.-

    All social science subjects have two papers only, expect for Economics, which has objective questions as Paper III.- There are three papers to Arts subjects (Literature in English and CRS).- The conversion of IJMB Grades is as follows:

    A’ Level Subjects O’Level Subject
    A – 70% and above A – Excellent (60 100%)
    B – 60 69% C – Credit (40 59%)
    C – 50 95% P – Pass (35 39%)
    D – 45 49% F – Fail (0 34%)
    E – 40 44%
    F – below 40% IJMBE results are released after 3 months of the examination.


    (a) Five O/L credit passes as contained in jamb brochure (Max of 2 sittings)
    (b) Awaiting result can also apply but O/L result must be available before University admission in September 2015
    (c) Eight (8) Passport Photographs
    (d) Birth Certificate
    (e) Certificate of State of origin (Optional)
    N.B Awaiting result can also apply but O/L result must be available before University admission. No JAMB/PUTME score is needed for admission for the IJMB A’level Programme.

    D = 2,
    E = 1,
    F = 0
    e.g. C+C+C= 9 + 1 = 10.
    Maximum point = AAA in your three subject courses = 15 + 1=16pts

    (1) EDKAN (Kano) Accept IJMB into part 2 in the college of education and other courses not less than 4 points and above. The awarding degree college accepts high points for any competitive courses.
    (2) KADPOLY (Kaduna Polytechnics) also awards DEGREE (BSC), accept IJMB result for their mode of Entry without JAMB.
    NOTE: IJMB ACCEPTABILITY over 70% of university in Nigeria accept IJMB result for direct entry admission into 200 level check page 3 of jamb brochure for confirmation.

    IJMB Fees
