New FTA Frequency, Symbol Rate to Track TSTV channels

TStv Africa will launch its services in Nigerian on the 1st of October 2017  April 2018. TStv is operated by ABS and Telcom Satellites TV.  TStv is a DTH pay TV that offers a rich blend of local and international channels and packages for your Entertainment, News, Sports, Kids, Health etc and will be distributed on the ABS 3A Africa beam, located at 3 degrees west.
Update August 2018: TSTV is back on NigComSat with about 23 stations on 12589 H 25000




Note that currently decoder sales are yet to commence nationwide but in this post, i will be sharing the frequency and symbol rate which you can use to track TSTV Channels on ABS 3A @ 3°W during installation

For tracking, use this details
Satellite: ABS 3A
Position: 3 degree west
Frequency: 11052
Symbol rate: 30000
Polarization: V


Dish size: 90 cm

Update 27th March 2018: 

TSTV has announced they now have additional parameters to
thier existing parameters.

Kindly add and re-scan your decoders with the added parameters below:

Symbol rate – 30000
Polarization – V

Symbol rate – 30000


Polarization – V
Then manually input frequency
11168 H 30000 on [email protected] and raise your dish up while standing in front of
your dish and rock gently to the right very close to MBC package on nilesat @7w



Once you hit green tight your
dish and manually input 11052 H 30000 and scan your tstv channels then you are
good to go as shown above.
This can be done using a the TSTv decoder, however if you use any other satellite receiver(strong decoders), you may not be able to view some of the channels because they my the scramble.
