JAMB 2018/2019 is finally over, soon the board will announce the sale of UTME forms for 2019/2020 academic session.  Below are some exam guidelines for the past 2018/2019 UTME.
This post will explain some basic UTME and D.E admission information and procedures candidates will need to know such as sales of form, exam date and venue, registration process, closing date and more.

JAMB 2018/2019 UMTE and Direct Entry Form

The Joint Admission and Matriculation board (JAMB ) recently notified the public that the board may not review downward the fee for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in 2018. Therefore the 2018/2019 UTME and D.E form will sell at the price stated in the previous admission session when it is official announced.

Where to Buy JAMB 2018/2019 Registration Form, PIN or Scratch Card

Aside the banks and NIPOST, candidates can now purchase the JAMB 2018 – 2019 UTME and D.E the registration pins through Remita. Then PIN VENDING will commence after payment is made.

JAMB 2018 – 2019 Registration: How to Create Profile 

Login in the JAMB Portal on http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/login
– Click Create Account
– Fill the Sign up form by entering a functional email and security questions.
– Click on verify email.
– Login into your email for confirmation. (Note that it could be in your spam folder if not seen on your  inbox).
– Then click on the link send to you by JAMB  to continue your registration. 
– Enter your name, surname, email, date of birthday, password, etc.




– Lastly click on “Sign Up” to complete the creation of your account.



What is JAMB PIN Vending?

JAMB Pin Vending is a process whereby students wishing to register for the examinations make an online payment and get a pin with which they can upload their data.
How can I pay for JAMB exams via PIN Vending
This new pin vending can be accessed through the options of web payment, ATM issued cards like Visa, Verve, and MasterCard, online Quick Teller, mobile application and Bank Branch cash/card.
Below are a List of banks authorized for the pin vending, they include:

Also note that some accredited center are also authorized for PIN Vending.
Registration forms and also cards may be found in the following few Banks and NIPOST offices. These banks also have some representatives at JAMB CBT registration centers where candidates also register every day.

How to Check UTME Result Online


The release of the 2018/2019 UTME results haven’t been announced, this page will be updated when results are released. 


List of JAMB 2018-2019 UTME, DE Admission requirements

The general entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other Degree-Awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation, Enterprise Institutes and Colleges of Education are available in the e- Brochure which would be given to each Candidate at the accredited CBT centres and JAMB state offices.

Candidates with one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission by Direct Entry:
(a) A minimum of five (5) GCE/WASCE credits at not more than two sittings with at least two Principal or Advanced level G.C.E. and the others.
(b) Two passes at the IJMB Advanced Level Examination,
Cambridge moderated Schools of Basic Studies Terminal Examination, JUPEB or Institute of Baccalaureate from recognized institutions with SSCE/GCE, NTS/NBC credits equivalent in three other subjects (SUBJECT TO UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS).
(c) Passes in two major subjects in the NCE with S.S.C.E., NTC/NBC credits or equivalents in THREE other subjects (mainly for Education Courses) and ND. Education may be accepted as a third A’ Level subject for those taking courses in Education.
(d) Minimum of lower credit grade in National Diploma or National Innovation Diploma including the O’Level requirements.


(e) Candidates are to note that they will be required to provide their JAMB registration number which they used in gaining admission to NCE, Diploma etc for Direct Entry admission.
