• Tuition Fee of Some Universities in Benin Republic

    There are many privates higher institutions in Benin Republic which offer quality education, these universities are located in Cotonou and in other towns in Benin Republic. I get a lot of emails and calls from people asking for information about these universities. I published some posts sometime last year about the courses and tuition fee of schools in Benin republic, but I guess its time to update the list.

     

     

     


    The following information was compiled in order to assist Nigerian students who want to study various affordable programmes in Benin Republic;

    Les Cours Sonou University Courses | Tuition & Accommodation Fee
    The schools population is gradually growing. It has both foreign and international students. Some of the courses offered in LCS are Law, Banking and finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Politics and International relations, Mass communications, Computer Science.
    The admission form costs N7,500 and The tuition fee for fresher is about N120,000. The school has hostels but some students prefer to stay of campus. If you’ll prefer hostel accommodation the fee is N20,000
    ESPAM Formation University Courses |Tuition and Accommodation Fee
    The fee structure for new students who wish to study either Medicine, Nursing and Law is about N244,000, While the fee structure for course like Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, International Relation, Political Science and Mass Communication is about N194,000. In terms of accommodation, its compulsory for all new students to stay in the hostels. And the accommodation fee is N30,000

    Saint Louis African University Benin (SLAUB) Courses |Tuition and Accommodation Fee
    The tuition fee for 1st semester in LAW, Science and Technology Courses and Other Courses is about N100,000 , N85,000 and N65,000 respectively. This is excluding hostel accommodation. Most students prefer to stay off campus. However, the school offers accommodation for its students at N8,000 per semester.

    IRGIB Africa University Courses |Tuition and Accommodation Fee
    This is another bilingual university in cotonou. A lot of Nigerians are currently enrolled in the school. The Tuition fee range for IRGIB Africa is about N195,000 for new students. The application form is N5,000. Some of the courses offered in IRGIB are human resource management, Marketing, Nursing, Information Technology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry and more

    ISAO British University, Benin
    Institute Superieur de L’Afrique de L’Ouest (ISAO) is a bilingual university located in Cotonou, Benin republic. The university is accredited by the government of Benin Repulic. The Decree of the Republic of Benin 044/MESRS/CAB/DC/SG/SGM/DPP/DGES/DEPES/SA authorizes this university to award diplomas, degrees and others titles and distinctions and offer various courses in its faculties.

    The university has 6 faculties, which offer over 20 courses. Some of the course ISAO university offers are Computer Science, Sociology, Law, Medicine, Economics, Biology etc. The tuition fee for degrees in LLB, BA, BSC, Bachelor’s, BBA is about N350,000. The university also offer accommodations, which ranges between N100,000 – N180,000 per semester, this includes caution and health insurance.
    ESPERANZA University Benin
    The University is approved by the ministry of Higher Education in Benin Republic. Many Nigerians are currently enrolled for various undergraduate programmes such International Relations, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Mass communication etc in the university, for now, the school doesn’t offer any science courses. Eseperanza University Benin also offers Master Degree Programmes. 

    The tuition fee for all courses in Esperanza University ranges from N180,000 – N280,000 per year. The university also provides hostel accommodation for students, its cost N10,000 per month.
    Richmond International University Benin
    Also known as  Ecole Superieure Richmond International University, RIUB was established by Sigma group & Nigerians in Diaspora Orgnisation(NIDO) and is fully accredited by the Some course offered in RIUB are Petroleum Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Medicine, Business Admininstration, Linguistics, Law, Insurance and more. 

    The university has also partnered with University of Atlanta, American National College and Badagry Specialist Hospital to help deliver quality education to its students.

    To apply for admission, the form cost N10,000 and its to be paid by bank deposit. For details about RIUB tuition fee, contact the university via email on [email protected]

    Houdegbe North American University, Benin Courses |Tuition and Accommodation Fee

    Most of these schools accept installment payment; however I advise that candidates should first seek the permission of the bursar. They are other affordable universities which I would like to list but I need to confirm the information and be certain before I publish it.
